6 months old! WHAT?!
Holy. Cow.
How is my Little Liam 6 months old already?!
These 6 months have flow by so fast. It feels like yesterday my angel was born and had to fight for every breath. He was so sick and now look at him!
Isn't he Beautiful?
I am so blessed to have (another) wonderful little guy. Liam is such a happy baby. He's laid back and easy going. He LOVES attention and being cuddled.
He's just starting to sit up. And he does this little "slug" scoot where he uses just his toes to move his body. He's slug scooted off his blanket already. He's got some mighty strong toes.
And thanks to the surprising weather we've been having, we've gotten to go on lots of walks and spend time outside. Liam loved it!
You can see it in his eyes, he can't wait until he's running around the yard after his brothers.
My sweet, sweet little boy.
At 6 months old, Liam has two teeth, he's starting to sit and he still drools like a St. Bernard. He's had a double ear infection for about 5 weeks but you would never know because he's always so happy. He's discovered that everything tastes good and needs to be put into his mouth, including but not limited to; Toys, fingers, toes, high chair trays, and Mommy's elbow. His brothers are the funniest people ever and never fail to hold his attention. Liam LOVES baby food. He's tried all his fruits and veggies and has just started multi flavored food. He would eat all day if I let him. He's dying to try "real" food. He screams all through dinner because he doesn't have food. Some baby puffs may soon be in his future. While he's still a serious baby who watches everything, his little personality is emerging more and more.
He's quick to laugh but also has a bit of a temper and has a very loud "ugly yell" when he wants picked up! He is my cuddle bug. He loves rocking and snuggling or touching his little chubby hands to my cheeks.
He's so wonderful. I'm so blessed to have 3 beautiful, amazing, wonderful, PERFECT little boys.
Happy Half Birthday my Little Liam! I love you SO much!! I am so lucky to be your Mommy!

two little teeth
My baby has two little teeth. One came a few weeks ago and the other popped up on St. Patrick's Day. They are coming in fast too! I can now see them when he smiles.
Two little teeth.
They are bittersweet.
Those two little teeth are my last "first" teeth. It's the last time I'll get excited for a first little tooth appearing. I know-he has a lot more teeth to get. But that first tooth is special and I'll never experience that again now. My last baby is growing up way too fast.
In 3 days Liam will be 6 months old! How is he half a year old already? Why does time have to go so fast? I'm trying so hard to slow down and enjoy every moment of his babyhood but it's still moving way too fast.
Where's the pause button when you need it??

A day late
But I hope everyone had a fun and safe St. Patrick's Day yesterday!!
Yesterday Grady got his first bee sting. We've been having beautiful, warm (borderline hot!) weather for March and all the insects are confused. So we already have bees out! And one found his way up Grady's shorts (yep...shorts in March.....have I mentioned the beautiful weather?!) and stung him on his thigh. Poor guy. He did pretty well though, kept the ice on and then was ready to go. Today he's a little more wary of playing outside but I don't think that'll last long.
And little Liam now has 2 teeth! Is it good luck for a little Irish boy to get a tooth on St. Patrick's Day?? Hopefully I can get a picture of those little crooked teeth soon. Everytime I try he sticks his tongue out. Next week, Liam will be 6 months old! How did that happen already? Poor guy has been fighting a cough and runny nose for almost 7 weeks now. 3 weeks ago he was diagnosed with a double ear infection. Not a big surprise with the kids history (Grady went through 2 sets of tubes, he is finally outgrowing them!) and then a week ago at his recheck we found out they were still infected, so a different med was ordered. Hopefully when we go back tomorrow, they will be all clear!

Grady's 4 year old check-up
Yesterday was Grady's 4 year old check-up. Going in, he told all the nurses that they needed to check all the food he ate to see how big he's grown.
My little guy is 38 1/2 inches (13%) and 36 lbs (59%). So he's short....but we knew that already!
His asthma is doing okay. He has started coughing more when he gets over exerted but hasn't had a full blown attack because I make him sit down as soon as the coughing starts. He did have a small attack Monday at 2:00am but the Dr. said his lungs sounded strong so I'm not worried.
He is still behind on several areas of development, but again, not a big surprise.
Grady had to pee in a cup, which he thought was totally weird. When the Dr. came in the room, Grady told him he peed in a cup and than proceeded to ask if he could poop in one too! Only Grady....
He had to get a finger prick (no shots), which he did not like! But he was rewarded for being such a good boy with a Shamrock Shake, his new favorite!
Later, he was discussing his hemoglobin test with my Mom. Grady held up his finger and told her he got shot at the dr's. She told him "No, you got a your finger pricked. That's not getting a shot." and then Grady said
"Yeah.....you get shot from a bullet."
Oh Grady......
