He blew them away!

Yesterday Aiden went back to his original bagpipe teacher. Glenn had passed him off to his father Allister while he helped prepare the band for a big dance that was on April 30th. So Aiden worked with Allister for about 5 weeks. Allister is one of the nicest people ever. He is full Scottish, with an awesome accent and very patient with Aiden. They got a lot of work done in those 5 weeks.

Last night Aiden returned to Glenn and needless to say, Glenn was blown away by how good Aiden has gotten! He played through all his exercises and I swear Glenn's eyes widened as Aiden went on. And then he played his 'Amazing Grace' and Glenn said it was "Fantastic!"

I'm so proud of my Aiden. He works so hard. He practices his chanter every day, no matter what. And I don't tell him to either; he does it because he LOVES it!

He still has a few years before he is big enough to move to a set of pipes but man, if he keeps going this way he is gonna be so good!
