A screamster of Cedar Point

This year I had the best job ever. Seriously.



I did this!!!

This year was my first year as a Screamster at Cedar Point's Halloweekends and I absolutly LOVED it!! I was lucky enough to be able to do it with my sister as well.

Here's a few pictures from the 7 weeks I spent scaring the crap out of people!


Before the zones opened, all of the Screamsters marched through the midway following the Overlord for our Gathering.







And then the Overlord would send us on our way!

I worked in a zone called CornStalkers. It was basically filled with corn, hillbillies, corn people and some strange pumpkin people.






And we made people scream....cry....pee....and beg for mercy!!










But we were just one big corney family!


I'm so lucky to be a part of the Screamster Family. The past 7 weeks were some of the most fun I have had in a very, very long time. I can not wait to go back next year to make more people scream!!!

Waterpark Fun

The weather has been hot, hot, hot here and I felt quite adventurous the other day. So I decided to take all 3 boys to Soak City, on my own. Yup, I was feeling brave!



It was Liam's first trip to a waterpark. He's been having fun swimming in Mam-Maw's pool this week so I wasn't worried about him not enjoying the water.



He thought catching the water was fun.


 
But enjoyed bear crawling through the shallow water.





Aiden was a good big brother and helped Liam around the baby lazy river.



After a few hours....Liam passed out!


The big kids had fun playing on the slides.






And in the water playground. All in all, it was a pretty easy day. We stuck to the little kids areas (except when Aiden went on the mat racers) and took the stroller along so I wasn't stuck holding Liam everywhere. It was a lot of fun and then we spent more time in Cedar Point!

Cedar Point opening day 2012

Summer has officially begun! It's Cedar Point time!!

Like always, we arrived at opening, ready for a long day of fun!

The Whole crew! Grady, James, Liam, Paige and Aiden.


Liam was excited! About what....he didn't know!

Our first stop was to Millenium Force. It was down. But the adults and big kids decided to wait in line anyways, in hopes it would run soon.  I hung out with the little guys.


James and Grady spent some time looking for ants and shaking muffleheads out of the tree!


Liam just had fun hanging out. He loved the roar of the roller coaster zooming by!


Finally it was time for some kid rides!!!

The excitement was too much for Liam.  Actually he only took a few small naps. He loved watching everything and gummy grinning at everyone who walked by.

The boys were SO excited for their roller coaster! They've been waiting since October for this. They rode the Junior Gemini 5 times in a row!









I wish I had more pictures but the day got away with me! But we have many, many trips to come so there will be much more.

I didn't see Aiden most of the day! He was off riding the big rides with Paige and George. We spent 13 hours in the park! Aiden rode Raptor for the first time and rode front seat in the dark.

We love going to the park and having fun. Our first day was great, with only a few bumps on Cedar Points part. The kids were great, the weather was beautiful and we can't wait to get back!
